When We Are Closed
During the hours that the surgery is closed medical emergencies are covered by the deputising service. When ringing the surgery at these times you will be given the appropriate telephone number/advice.
If you have a query which is not urgent you can contact NHS Direct Wales on 08454647 or visit the website.
If you require emergency dental treatment contact your dentist during normal hours. Alternatively if you do not have access to NHS Dentist contact the Helpline on 01633 488389 Monday - Friday 9am-4pm.
Your Pharmacist can provide free confidential NHS advice and treatment without you having to make an appointment to see your GP for the following:-
Indigestion, constipation, diarrhoea, piles, hay fever, head lice, teething, nappy rash, colic, chicken pox, threadworms, sore throat, athlete’s foot, conjunctivitis, mouth ulcers, cold sores, acne, dermatitis, verruca, back pain, in growing toenails, vaginal thrush, oral thrush, scabies.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
