If you are over 70, Clinically extremely vulnerable or you are a sole carer who provides over 35 hours a week of care for a vulnerable person and have not already told us,

Repeat Prescriptions

Requests should be made by tearing off part of the previous prescription.  If this is unavailable please request the prescription in writing.

Alternatively you can use the My Health Online system to request repeat prescriptions (please ask at reception for a form if you have not already registered).

In accordance with guidelines from the Local Health Board we cannot accept telephone requests except in exceptional circumstances.

A minimum notice of 48 hours (2 working days) is required for a repeat prescription. Please try and collect all prescriptions during afternoon surgery and not during morning surgery.  If you are requesting some medication which is not on repeat this will take longer as it has to be approved by the doctor

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

if you have a query regarding your prescription then we have a Prescription Clerk who works every morning at the Surgery, we do not have the staff to deal with this in the afternoons.
